CALL FOR DEMOS
Many application domains exist which may
benefit from the possibility to automatically detect, analyse or recognize
humans on the basis of biometric measurements.
This workshop will bring together researchers
in different application domains on biometric techniques for authentication in
an attempt to contribute to robust solutions for the many challenging problems
related to this area. Moreover, this workshop will try to identify trends for
future developments and the means for implementing applications based on
biometric systems.
The workshop will consist of one day of
technical presentations, with 19 orally presented papers (approximately 25
minutes) divided in 4 separate sessions and one special demonstration session.
Applications are solicited for live
presentations of either research or industrial biometric
systems/applications/sub-systems based on any biometric measurement. About 5 to
7 demonstrations will be selected according to the relevance of the proposed
demo and the prospect interest for the workshop partecipants. Demo presenters
are expected to bring the required computing facilities and any special device.
Tables and other furnitures will be provided by the workshop organizers upon
request.
